Longans have been a traditional Asian fruit, and in fact, Mr Fong loves it alot. Rightt. Just days ago, he chanced upon an even better present for his dear Eatyourmaths patrons: a question! Now, don't be greedy for Mr Fong is only giving you one... ;p
"Mr Fong gave Mrs Fong some money to buy longans. If she bought 8kg of longans, she would be short of $3. If she bought 6 kg of longans, she would have $5 left over. What was the cost of 1kg of longans?"
