Geek Terminal outing with Farinelli and Amanda

This idiot Tooth Fairy has said I don't blog about Maths anymore. He's right, for this year at least, hur hur. PSLE is over, and while I'm very pleased with the results, what's done is done. Period.

Some have asked me, "Why not have a page of dedications to yourself?" The common argument is that since I have produced 20 kids results, I should get some bragging rights. To be frank, this is very tempting. This would help me get much more students, and it is also good ammunition for my ego. Any criticism could be rebutted, shot back and demolished with those 'dedications'. Right?...

However, I shall resist this temptation for now. I have not got dedications that appeared on my website, praising me to the skies and encouraging any Tom, Dick and Harry to start 'EatingYourMaths', but I realize I do get more satisfaction.

I have got numerous calls from parents thanking me, to praise me for improving their grades, and to tell me my work has worked. Maybe that's what really matters in job satisfaction- I am currently very happy in this state, for it is the inside that matters, and these compliments warm my heart.

It feels good when they begin to insist that I try my utmost to teach their siblings too, that I must try my best to teach all of them next year. Thank you, and I am truly uplifted, for this happiness warms my heart more than the countless dedications for display.

I have seen many headlines on dedications, like 'My child failed since p4, but he made me pass!', or 'My boy wasn't interested in Maths, but he made him get a B to restore his confidence!'. I can't imagine my blog with...

...... I really can't. I know I have achieved, and maybe I was brought up like a Communist/ Elitist/ Pea-brained (some might dispute the existence of the brain) Chicken, but I think that boasting gets me nowhere. I suppose that listing all the PSLE achievements on the blog shamelessly, while simultaneously telling my kids to be humble, is hypocritical.

Speaking of classes, and to add to the theme of Rojak Content, thank you for all the enquiries...!!! It makes me so excited to read all of them. Haha. However, please please please do confirm soon the structure you want, and which type of classes you want to enrol for.

I suspect that the registrations would stop about 1 week before X'mas, please do quickly confirm now for the list is burgeoning, and I'm trying to limit the number for everybody's benefit. I love my holiday...!!!

Enough of classes and the drudgery of administrative work, and thanks for confirming them quickly on a first-come-first-serve basis! I'm currently sick and feeling boliao, so I'm responding to all the enquiries with a vengeance. I feel like I'm Fann Wong in 'Just Follow Law', shooting out all the emails in arrows, hehehhee...

Anyway, I guess we had great fun, and thanks Fairy for helping with the jeans, failing which I would have become a naked (but highly attractive) blue-collared worker. Fairy is flying off to Japan tomorrow... :(

P.S. My brother is in NS, and I miss him so much..... But he seems OK, very happy. Coz training havn't started, HAHA... Will be praying for him and family for their safety, and that he could pull through while they have fun. God gives everyone so many reasons to give thanks, just that sometimes we choose to focus on problems.
