Today Mr Fong met Farinelli at Holland V. After brief job interviews (Mr Fong is turning Dutch), Mr Fong met Farinelli and he forced they decided to go to Coffee Club. Did anyone guess if Mr Fong took an interview there? Yeah, he did.
Coffee Club was sparsely decorated, but had a very quiet atmosphere, which made Mr Fong's booming voice even more, erm, booming. It was a hugely enjoyable lunch/dinner (Mr Fong does not know how to distinguish, leh), and I'm sure that Farinelli would agree, hmm... Considering how he finished his Latte about 1.5 hours before I finished my Fish and Chips, haha! (Ladies first)
Mr Fong met many people there, apart from a new potential tuition student friend. He met other teachers, some students, some compatriots from his school, and even his church mates. Not to mention that he met He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Seen.
Ouch.
P.S. Mr Fong has huge motivational powers! He managed to convince Farinelli to be an English tutor (God knows how), after 2 hours of ranting discussing the pros and cons of the tuition system in Singapore, the pervading feelings he had for PSLE, their own experiences and many lame class experiences in between. (Did you know that Mr Fong shared more cons than pros? Hehe!)
[update]
*crys, moans and sobs dramatically* As of now, Mr Fong has not received any confirmation calls. Although Mr Fong hopes that processing this requests take time for a confirmation, and that he suspects it might succeed this Saturday (note the italics), it seems that Mr Fong's intellectual capacity extends only to his blogging Mathematics :(
